Boarding is available on a limited basis as we are a veterinary hospital first and priority for kenneling is given to our patients.
We have two spacious wards for boarding - one for cats and one for dogs (the cats, in particular, seem to appreciate not having to share space with dogs). Our around-the-clock staffing means your pets are never alone.
CATS - cats are roomed in our sunny cat room. Extra large kennels as well as a multi-level cat condo are available for an extra charge and on a first reserved, first served basis. Cats who board must to be up-to-date on Feline Distemper and Rabies vaccinations. All boarders receive a flea check on admission and are treated with a flea adulticide if needed.
DOGS - dogs are roomed in our large dog ward. Two indoor "runs" are available for an extra charge and on a first reserved, first served basis. Dogs who board must be up-to-date on Canine Distemper, Kennel Cough and Rabies vaccinations.
All boarders receive a flea check on admission and are treated with a flea adulticide if needed. Dogs are exercised individually on leash within a fenced yard to ensure their safety.
For both cats and dogs, housemates (of the same species) may board in the same kennel, however we reserve the right to separate any pairs who may decide that they have had a little too much togetherness!
We serve a prescription diet to our boarders, designed to be easy to digest. (Some animals are slightly stressed in a boarding situation.) Kittens and puppies are fed age appropriate diets. You may also provide your pet's normal food or, if it is a brand we carry, we can dispense the food from the LVVS Pet Food & Supply Center.
We do our best to take care of any belongings (such as beds and toys) you may bring with your pet, however cannot be responsible for their safe return to you.
