Please discuss with the receptionist what time to drop your pet off at LVVS for his or her procedure.  We request that, whenever possible, pets are dropped off the night before their procedure is scheduled.  (After hours, please come to the Emergency Entrance and ring the doorbell to call a staff member.) 

We request the "night before drop off" for a number of reasons.  Pets dropped off the night before their procedure are calmer at the time of treatment as they have had a chance to settle in to the hospital and with our staff.  In addition, our staff members can monitor your pet overnight and follow any prescribed orders about fasting, water or medications.  Finally, our clients appreciate not having to rush around in the morning, getting kids to school, adults to work AND a pet to LVVS!  (Boarding the night before a procedure is at no charge;  please ask at the front desk if you have any questions!)
